At TT Lashes, we use faux mink lashes, which are a single strand curved eyelash extensions to replicate your natural eyelashes. The eyelash extensions are applied one at a time. One eyelash extension to one of your natural eyelashes and bonded with glue.
If they are properly applied and cared for, eyelash extensions can last up to 4-5 weeks. Touch-ups are recommended every 2-4 weeks because your natural eyelashes will shed (cycle out).
Mascara is typically not needed with eyelash extensions that have been applied properly. However, if you would like to achieve a more bold dramatic look, you can apply water-based mascara. Frequent use of mascara on eyelash extensions will shorten their lifespan. Waterproof mascara is NOT recommended and will dissolve the bond agent applied to your natural eyelashes.
No, unlike most establishments, we do not count eyelashes and/or charge per eyelash. We work with you to create the fullness you desire.
When applied properly eyelash extensions will not harm your natural eyelashes. Our techniques allow for optimal growth and health of your natural eyelashes. We make sure to separate each and every eyelash so that over time the eyelash extensions will grow and shed undisturbed.
Your natural eyelashes typically shed every 60-90 days; this is also referred to as the “natural growth cycle”. To maintain the full/thick appearance of a new set of eyelash extensions, a touch-up is recommended every 2-4 weeks based on your natural eyelash growth cycle and extension preference. Please see the aftercare section on how to properly care for your eyelash extensions to maximize their longevity.
